How Do You Choose A Bangle?
With so many different styles of bangle to choose from it's really a decision that is up to you. Follow your favourite colours and interests. Have you ever bought a bangle that has been too big for your small wrist? We've got some easy tips for you to start wearing your favourite bangle that's just too dangly. The first tip is easy for when you're in those colder months of the year. It's simple, wear a long sleeve shirt and let your bangles dangle over the extra layer of clothing. The thicker the fabric the better the fit of the bangle.
Next, try stacking your bangles in a way so your tighter-fitting bangles are below the loose-fitting one, this way they won't slide down. Try putting the loose-fitting bangle sandwiched between two tight bangles to restrict movement even further.
Try making it a cloth bangle. For this, you'll want to use a bangle that you just don't wear anymore due to the size. Take a long thin strip of cloth that's big enough to be wrapped around the bangle over and over again until you get the perfect fit. Pick any style of fabric, it could feature intricate designs or plain colours it's up to you. Make a pretty knot at the end of the fabric and your bangle is now ready to be worn every day again.
Our last tip is to take it to a jeweller. Depending on the material the bangle is made from it can be resized to fit your wrist. This will not work for bangles that are made from stone and other materials.
How To Wear A Torque Bangle
If you're new to the world of bangles this is a must-read. Avoid opening and closing your bangle for wear as this will cause the bangle metal to weaken, resulting in the eventual snap of the bangle.
To get the bangle on your wrist, turn your wrist so your thumb is pointed towards the sky and press the bangle opening to barely fit the thinnest part of your wrist. After this step is complete it's likely you won't have to repeat it.
Once the bangle is threaded onto your writ, twist the opening of the bangle towards the bottom of your wrist. Pus the bangle ends together to mould the bangle to your wrist if needed
