In Seiko's latest Australasian release, they have revealed two stunning pieces inspired by the majesty of Australia in the Seiko Prospex range. Unveiled at their recent conference held in Noosa, Seiko have created two stunning, limited edition pieces. The first of the two, the SRPJ53K (eucalyptus) captures the feeling of the Australian bush and is powered by the automatic calibre 4R36. Design

The watch's colourway is a soft blue tone with a subtle textured finish that resembles the motion of Noosa waters. The upper part of the dial appears almost black in colour, which fades effortlessly into the lighter blue shade, magically capturing the ambience of wonderful Australian beaches. As you look out to the ocean at Noosa, the motion of the sea eases from a vibrant blue into a darker tone due to the depths of the water, which this watch captures perfectly.

A pop of colour in the watch hands feature a saturated yellow tone that stands out beautifully against the dial. Reminiscent of the last glow of the sun across Laguna Bay, this feature adds a touch of warmth and brightness to the monochrome design.

Lumination is present in the hands and the indices, creating a soft light across the dial. When diving the deepest of oceans you can rely on the quality timekeeping of a classic Seiko watch to get you through your biggest adventures. The bezel features a pearl of lume to keep track of immersion time.

The watch boasts the iconic sumo case, which was released in 2007 and is well revered by enthusiasts. Featuring a 45mm stainless steel case, the characteristics of this dial make it comfortable to wear. Thanks to the curved lugs and architecture of the sumo, this watch seemingly hugs the wrist. This truly is a watch that you can wear every day with ease. This Seiko watch comes with an interchangeable strap that is a dark blue rubber. Perfect for those who prefer a softer bracelet, the watch looks great in both straps.
