What age can children wear jewellery?
Children can wear jewellery at any age, though you should make sure the piece is of high quality and cannot be caught on anything. Most wait several months before putting jewellery on their baby.
What jewellery is safe for babies?
Gold is best for babies, as it is hypoallergenic and will very rarely cause irritation. Bangles should be tight fitting but soft, so that they don’t catch on anything or cause your baby any discomfort.
Should kids wear necklaces?
Necklaces should be worn by kids who are a little older, just to be safe. If your younger child wears a necklace it is best not to let them sleep while wearing it, in case it twists or restricts breathing.
