What are the types of pendants?

The most common pendant types are lockets and brooches. 

Lockets consist of two halves joined by a hinge but can be found in a variety of shapes like rectangles, ovals and hearts. 

Brooches won’t open up like lockets but come in many diverse designs that are usually stone set and intricately detailed.

What is the difference between necklaces and pendants?

Necklaces are chains fitted to wear around the neck and are often paired with pendants.

Pendants themselves are pieces of jewellery that can be attached to necklaces, bracelets, clothes and anything else.
