Yes. Citizen use quartz movement in their watches. In 1976 the company developed its first-ever light-powered quartz analogue watch, calling the technology Eco-Drive. Eco-Drive does not require battery change like standard quartz watches, rechargeable by light.

While the citizen brand in not considered a luxury brand, Citizen does produce a range of luxury watches that appeal to the tastes of the high-end.
