What is a G-Shock Carbon Core guard?

G-Shock Carbon Core Guard is made of a fine resin that includes a carbon fibre for enhanced toughness.  The Carbon Core Guard is used in many models of the G-Shock range to intensify the structure of the watch, adding superior protection and shock resistance, while also keeping the wristwatch lightweight.

How do I set the time on my G-Shock Carbon Core?

G-Shock Carbon Core watches include dual time function that includes both an analogue and digital function.  In order to set up your G-Shock Carbon Core watch, it is recommended that you follow the instructions manual.  Here is a general overview of how to set up your G-Shock Carbon Core watch.

Step 1

Hold down the adjust button for around three seconds, the watch’s face should then begin flashing.

Step 2

Press the mode button several times until the seconds digit begins flashing.

Step 3

Press either the forward or reverse button until the value you want your seconds digits to be at is correct.

Step 4

To change the hour and minute digits, repeat steps 2 and 3 until they display the correct digits.

Step 5

To set your G-Shock watch’s flashing options, press the mode button until you reach this particular option.

Step 6

Using the forward or reverse button, cypher through the various options until you reach your desired setting.

** Changing the digital time will automatically change the analogue time so you will not have to configure this manually.  Refer to the manuals instructions for a more detailed way to set up your G-Shock Carbon Core watch.
